Another lovely Saturday. I made it through my work week, steady and busy but not crazy-busy. Three days of skiing on my lunch breaks, taught 2 yoga classes.
We had a nice big breakfast this morning, egg-veggie sausage paninis, blueberry pancakes, coffee. All of us headed up for a glorious day of skiing - Frances was off with his friends for much of the day, I toodled off on my own with my music in my ears, JC and Little Rose ran into some other families for a few runs and everyone seemed to be soaking up the Colorado sun and blue skies.
Sister's best friend sent us a late wedding present ...a tortilla maker (thanks Jessica)! So me and the kids made homemade tortillas and had a nice taco dinner before heading downtown for a starry stroll to get steamers and hot chocolates at the Bean.
I have finally started my napkin-sewing project, sewing napkins out of flour sack fabric that I bought in Silverton at an antique store. I will take some photos tomorrow - I have two kinds of fabric.
Yoga tomorrow morning with Ally and maybe Robyn and Sara from 9-12, then more skiing. We are due for some snow in the next couple of days, which I have to say, I would gladly welcome. We have been having such a great time this season, in spite of the bleak snowpack, but I had my first day of, Okay, enough is enough, let's get some real snow here and have ourselves a real winter.
More tomorrow!
